Several weeks after we cleared 11/12 in ICC Heroic we finally decided to take a week off heroics and finish the remaining random achievements and get our fancy mounts.

For the record, we are just the 10th guild overall on Kazzak that manages to achieve that and one of the only FOUR active horde guilds that have this mount, which is quite an accomplishment for a casual guild like us.

After a couple of very hard months with lots and lots of people taking a break from raids due to summer, we finally managed to stabilise our roster, so Putricide and Sindragosa were due to die very soon. So the past week we managed to kill both on heroic and now sit at 11/12 on Heroic ICC, an achievement that only Slashcry has managed to beat, since they are the only guild on Kazzak to kill the Lich King and Halion on heroic.

So now, with our roster being as full as ever, we can keep farming these 11 heroic bosses so that everyone gets his full 277 gear and in the meantime get our ICC 25 mounts, try Lich King and Halion on heroic, do other fancy achievements and whatnot (Eric™) and wait for Cataclysm to start our 5th year of raiding in a row as strong as possible.

Our luck with the drops changed to the better lately, so we finally managed to finish our first Shadowmourne as a guild! Congratulations to Myzrym (aka Christabella) for his new sexy toy!

It's this time of the year again and unfortunately for me we are still here so that I have to go through making a wall of text once again. Today we celebrate our fourth anniversary as a guild! It's quite hard for someone to imagine this. A team of people that play an online game together, that have been through all the hardships and millions of problems for four years in a row but are still alive. It goes without saying that after the Sons of Temujin disbanded some time ago, we are officially the oldest horde guild on Kazzak; and not just the oldest but the oldest by far.

We are not, nor were we ever, a hardcore guild having superb progress and such. But we have a core of people that play together for a long time and want to keep doing so. So when other guilds disband in the first obstacle, we remain alive after the millionth obstacle, simply because everyone in the guild wants to keep it alive. And so far we have achieved that, which is the most important thing for us along with having fun together. The progress is something that comes as an outcome of that. And even though we would have deserved some better progress at times, we always manage to raid the "end-game content", even with some delay. Besides, some of our raiders could easily be core members in any hardcore guild, something that is reflected in the progress we have had in the 10man raids when we decide to stop slacking.


This year instead of saying anything more, I decided to make a list with the names of the core people that have been part of the guild in these 4 years. Some would argue that it's almost a blasphemy to put all these names next to each other, since some of these people have been so fundamentally important for the guild, that without them it's really likely we wouldn't even exist, while others have been for far less time in the guild without having contributed anything particularly special, especially with a couple of them being merely social members.

The reason I decided to include all these people though is that every one of them has supported and helped the guild or simply marked it in their own way. Some were here for years, while others just for months; some were world-class players, while others really mediocre; some were amazingly awesome characters, while others not the easiest to get along. In any case, all of these people are part of our guild's history. The oldest members will just say "OMG I had totally forgotten of him/her!" or perhaps even shed a tear (how gay, jesus...) after seeing the names of so many people they have shared amazing moments together for years.

The biggest part of this list is people that have quit WoW. Some of them from time to time start again and come back to us or at least stay in touch. Some are even still in the guild but almost never play anymore. In the end of the list I also included the names of the veteran members that have been here since vanilla WoW and TBC till now. If I forgot anyone, I'm really sorry but dealing with so many names at such an old age is due to cause some omissions! Also note that the names are listed in alphabetical order, so that I am not unfair to anyone. Hopefully we will be here next year to celebrate our 5th anniversary (and include Caritia and Terry as veterans lolol)!

After terrible problems with a lot of people quitting WoW the past month, which led to cancelled raids and a lot of attempts with bad setup, we FINALLY managed to kill him.

Congratulations and a big thank you to everyone that stayed patient, faithful and punctual all this period and kept doing their best to make this possible. Now it's time for us to enjoy the fruits of our labour, which is nothing but the heroic modes with the phat lewtz!

Being able to visit ICC 10 not even once per week for the past two months, we finally managed to gather up again, do our remaining achievements, finish the Glory of the Icecrown Raider and get our mounts! In fact, only as the 5th Horde guild on Kazzak, while we could have easily done it around a whole month ago, should it have not been for the immense slacking...

Next comes the Lich King on 25-man normal and 10-man heroic.

After a long time of activity issues we finally managed to actually try Sindragosa and defeat her on 25 man. The road to the Lich King is now open, so hopefully Térry will become Kingslayer soon!

Without being able to raid at all last week we were finally able to gather up now, resume and finally manage to master the fight and have a flawless kill.

We have the heroic modes now to keep us busy for a while and hopefully we will be able to reach the Lich King on 25-man mode soon as well.

Order of Sargeras managed once again to clear the new content in the first week of its release (apart from the obvious unfortunately...) and be the 4th horde guild on Kazzak to reach the Lich King in ICC 10, and that of course solely because we raid late in the week. Next time we are optimistic that we will finally be able to defeat one of the most powerful creatures on Azeroth, as well as one of the reasons we have been playing this game for 5 years.

The new wing has been cleared in the first week of its release.
